The 2023 SAT/PSAT prep course will review the significant skills and concepts covered on the various sections of the SAT and PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. Additionally, students will review the testing format and practice methods to maximize their results. Since the organization and scoring of these tests are unique, familiarization with the test can greatly influence students’ performance on the individual sections. The class will also offer testing opportunities and homework for participants.
Class Attributes
- Teaching is student-focused and presented in an energetic and engaging manner. Ultimately, the learning environment and rigorous review of concepts/testing strategies are the keys to the significant progress students make in the course. (Please read the Testimonials )
- Students are encouraged to register with friends/teammates to increase motivation and allow for group studying options.
- *Classes meet primarily on Sundays to avoid weeknight conflicts. Sessions generally last between 1.5 to 2 hours.
- The schedule and content of the course are carefully designed for maximum performance. The prep classes lead directly up to the test date; this minimizes retention issues that occur when a prep class is taken well in advance of the SAT or PSAT.
- Students have access to 10 complete practice tests and a data bank of review materials for specific skills/concepts.
